Villain? 09:01
Villain? One for sadness, two for mirth Three for marriage, four for birth Five for laughing, six for crying Seven sickness, eight is dying Nine for silver, ten for gold Eleven for a secret that will never be told (‘Shut the fuck up!’ ‘WTH are you doing there, you son of a bitch!’) You’ll see here what you have never seen before In this glance of the eyes vicious and cold None will search me for any reward Lips never lying but just playing the role One for sadness…. (‘I said stop that fucking noise, you cunt!’) You thought I’m one I’ve never been Now it is time to show you real me My arms so cold need warmth of your blood You can do nothing but scream out loud One for sadness and two for my rage Three for madness and four for revenge Words like scars Will be forever glued to my tongue With delight To those who’re hunting me when I’m gone (Haunting one that I possess, the thing that I caress unable to constrain)

A special section has been added to the list of message subjects, and from now on puppy name suggestions can come alongside questions on the Russian Constitution, safety issues, international relations and some other mostly legislative queries. All name proposals will be assessed according to the Federal Law within 10 days, provided the sender submits his or her full name and address. The online form on the website also requires filling out social status, region, sex and nationality fields. Although the announcement is addressed to Russian citizens, foreigners can also send their online message to Putin in any language.

Ultima Thule 07:32
Ultima Thule 1. I saw a land, savage land Highest mountains reaching the stars Far above floating by Constellations unknown, unexplored Savage land, on the sand There are tracks of mysterious beasts Take a step on the land Try get lost in its darkest woods Tender shades luring me Asking me to slumber in peace See the dreams, sweetest fibs Under trees of enormous height 2. Clouds soft and shy tracing sky Over island’s elusive shores Fade away from the gaze Every wonderer’s casting down eyes Cheating you, never true Like horizon’s unreachable line Magic isle, distant isle Praised in legends but never explored Take me to this land Lead me through my cares (Whisper) Savage land, on the sand there are tracks of mysterious beasts Take a step on the land and get lost in its darkest woods See the constellations unknown and trees of enormous height You can never get there, there’s no map and there can be no compass to lead you there… Take me to this land Lead me through my cares There’s no map to show you the way There’s no compass to lead you there Your ship will get into storm It’s losing its course

Lullaby 08:34
Lullaby Intro: Whenever a good child dies an angel of God comes down from heaven, takes the child in his arms, spreads his great white wings and flies with him over all places which the child had loved during his life. Then he gathers a large handful of flowers which he carries up to the Almighty that they may bloom more brightly in heaven… (H.C. Andersen, “the Angel”)* Step on the softest carpet of grass You’re moving gently through the fog In the brightest moonlight And listen to the voice of waterfalls And rivers float Oh, baby, don’t you recognize It’s your real home Don’t wake in the night Till you sleep I will fight Fight away all your fears You’re safe ‘cause I am here I’ll whisper in the dark Hush, my dear, grab my arm Leave behind all your fears And lead me through your dreams You’re creeping about on your tiptoe To see what’s hidden here Turn round, come back, my dear Leave viper’s poison for me Leave on Earth these bunches of flowers Turn round and run back home Throw away the bunches of flowers And run back, run back, run back, run You’re creeping about on your tiptoe Toseewhat’shere…

The Way 04:27
The way Appear when I’m feeling down Be my brightest sun I know it’s not a real world My way through the dark and cold All the important disappears, A brand new world reveals to me It’s beautiful in nothing I can fear A kind of way that soma brings to me Appear when I’m feeling down Be my brightest sun…. All the important disappears, A brand new world reveals to me It’s beautiful in nothing I can feel A kind of way that soma brings to me

Asylum 06:47
Asylum In a desperate land Of your hallucinate mind Hear that she comes Your dementia How can you know that it’s real? Or you’re getting crazy again Locked in your asylum You’re getting insane Are you getting insane? Getting insane Insane Insane Haunting your devotion Catch it if you care Digging up emotion Will it ever dare? Diving deepest ocean Of your childhood dreams Sinking in illusion Such a hopeless whim Tumor is idea Wounds don't cause the pain Creature is so real Here it comes again Hear that she comes Just open your eyes It’s coming up closer Invades in your brain Your mind is possessed Like a cornered blind rat There’s no good to fight There’s no place to hide Feel them moving slowly These eyes on the walls Control every movement No sense to ignore Longing for salvation From the stars above Like a lonely martyr Whisper ‘that'senough

about

When you go and put a didgeridoo on your album I for one am heartily predisposed to give it a spin (not you, Jamiroquai), and that instrument`s odd charm is one of many here. Trip is the third album from Moscow`s Grey mouse, whose line-up has been so fluid that apparently it`s even changed since this recording. This hour-long slab of music comprises drones, drums (or `drams` as they`re pleasingly mistyped on the sleeve) and drama. A creeping didge lulls you into a false sense of serenity before spunky singer Victoria Barsukova lets fly with a string of f– and c-bombs, Kirill Chunikhin`s battery kicks in and then, well, all hell breaks loose. Yet this is a trip of light and shade. In with Andrew Batalin`s chunky 70s-style guitar fills are gentle interludes featuring Maxim Shutikov’s sitar, harmonica and jaw harp. There’s an appealing organic, jammed fell to the compositions, and a live-sounding production job adds guts to the whole enterprise. Barsukova puts me in mind of another gutsy performer. District 97’s extraordinary Leslie Hunt. That band’s vibe is in here, along with a dash of SunnO))), Sabbath, and a tie-dyed spirit of adventure to which you can only say da.

progarchives.com review by Kev Rowland:
"By the time Grey Mouse came back for their third album in 2013 there is no doubt they had been on quite a journey, but that is not the "trip" referred to in the title but instead is something of a rather more drug-induced nature. While the rhythm section of Alexey Chunikhin (bass) and Kirill Chunikhin (drums) were still around, there had been a significant change in both musicians and instruments. They had changed singers from male to female in Victoria Barsukova, now had guitarist Andrew Batalin and had brought in Maxim Shutikov (sitar, didjeridoo, jaw harp) who had obviously changed the sound quite dramatically. Herman Aleshin had returned as a guest (providing drone on one song) while they had also brought in a second sitar player in Andrew Bochko who plays on two.

Second track, "Villain?", seems to have everything from gentle small girl vocals to venom, experimentation to early Seventies hard rock, and a band which are obviously in control but are the only ones who actually know what is going on. They have managed to maintain some links with what the band was doing previously, even though only the rhythm section have been involved with the other albums yet have moved far more into experimental and progressive. The stoner elements are still there, but now with the knowledge that here is a band who are highly confident in what they are doing and no longer want to stay within the norms and instead are pushing boundaries. Victoria at times is so quiet that it is almost impossible to hear what she is either singing or saying, while at others she is on the crest of the wave and relishing what is going on beneath. "Ultima Thule" even brings in classic Indian stylings yet bringing in Western influences to turn it into something else. This is such an incredibly enjoyable album as it is easy to listen to yet is always changing and moving. "
